Austen Chu has turned social media popularity into a flourishing business with his online platform Wristcheck. A watch consignment store based on transparency and trust, it has raised US$8 million in seed funding and consigned watches worth more than US$80 million. Austen was the youngest jury member of the 2021 GPHG Awards, the industry’s top awards show.
